Founder’s Reflections: The Responsibility of Stewardship
426-REF-001 · Version 1.0 · October 25, 2026
An opportunity to understand
I want people to understand God, to know God, and to understand His Word before anything can be sold. If a garment carries a Scripture, what does that Scripture mean? If a collection speaks about consecration, what does it mean to be consecrated?
They do not have to understand everything before being welcomed. But they should be offered biblical truth rather than simply being encouraged to consume a product.
A stewardship before God
I often say, “I am creating,” or “I am building.” But my conviction is that the vision, gifts, opportunities, and responsibility entrusted to me ultimately belong under God’s authority.
I believe I am a steward of what He has placed in my hands. That does not remove my responsibility to develop, document, manage, protect, and faithfully execute the work. It increases that responsibility.
I do not want to take what I believe God has entrusted to me and make myself the center of it. My responsibility is faithfulness.
For the lost and the found
I want to establish a ministry environment that intentionally directs people back to Scripture and to Christ. Where someone can come with questions, where the lost can hear the Gospel, where those who have wandered can return, and where those already walking with God can continue growing.
God is worth knowing, not merely knowing about.
